VPN / WebRTC Leak Test
Check whether your browser leaks your real IP through WebRTC.
This test uses your browser's WebRTC engine to check whether it exposes any IP address that could bypass your VPN. Nothing leaves your browser.
About VPN / WebRTC Leak Test
Even with a VPN switched on, your browser can leak your real IP address through WebRTC — a feature used for video calls that can reveal local and public addresses directly, bypassing the VPN tunnel. This test checks for exactly that.
A WebRTC leak defeats the point of a VPN: sites and trackers can still see who you really are. Running this check confirms whether your current setup is actually hiding your address or quietly exposing it.
How it works
- 1The test uses your browser's WebRTC engine to gather the IP candidates it would share with a peer.
- 2It compares those against the public IP your connection reports.
- 3If a different or local address appears, your browser is leaking and you'll see how to fix it.
