About IP Blacklist Check
A blacklist check tells you whether an IP address appears on a DNS-based blacklist (DNSBL) — the reputation lists mail servers use to decide whether to accept or reject email. If your mail server's IP is listed, your messages may be bounced or sent to spam.
Blacklists are maintained by anti-abuse organisations that track sources of spam, malware and other unwanted traffic. Regularly checking your sending IP against these lists is essential for good email deliverability.
How it works
- 1Enter the IPv4 address you want to check (for example, your mail server's IP).
- 2We query several public DNSBL zones for that address using DNS-over-HTTPS.
- 3Each list is reported as Listed, Not listed, or Unavailable if the list couldn't be reached.
