About Internet Speed Test
A speed test measures how fast your connection actually is right now: the download speed (how quickly you receive data), the upload speed (how quickly you send it), and latency (the delay before data starts moving).
Real-world speeds often differ from what your ISP advertises, and they change with Wi‑Fi conditions, congestion and the device you're on. Testing regularly helps you spot problems and hold your provider to the plan you pay for.
How it works
- 1Click Start — the test downloads and uploads sample data to a nearby server.
- 2We measure the throughput and round-trip latency in real time.
- 3Your download, upload and ping are shown in Mbps and milliseconds.
